Implementation Options
1. Summer Math Camp - this is actually a professional development AND a student summer camp! Math can help build a better tree house! Students will gain the conceptual understandings and their real life application, using Thinking Tools to understand the describe symbolically the math in events such as:
• Building a fort
• Planting a garden
• Going on a treasure hunt
• Playing on a swing
• Balancing on a teeter-totter
• Building and firing a rocket
• Delivering mail
Depending upon your area and the availability of transportation there will be memorable math lessons in putting on a puppet show and taking field trips to nearby copper or gold mines, historical ruins, and more!

2. After School Program - an excellent way for students to really move up in their math skills and have fun doing so!
3. MIM as the Main Curriculum - you can use your textbooks as an extra resource, but you will not need them. There are no textbooks, workbooks or software to purchase. You will need to purchase some very inexpensive materials.
